Tips: Difference between double acting and single acting hydraulic cylinder
Double acting and single acting hydraulic cylinders are two different actuator types in hydraulic systems, and the key difference between them is the way they operate. Double acting hydraulic cylinders have two ports, one for liquid entry and the other for liquid discharge. It is capable of exerting force in both extension and retraction directions.
