Description
The collar on these partially threaded drawn arc weld studs acts as a spacer between the workpiece and parts installed on the studs after they have been welded to the workpiece. A short base section is melted off during the welding process. Sometimes called Partially Threaded Drawn Arc Weld Studs with Collar, the studs form strong, vibration-resistant welds that provide a tight seal against water, oil, air, or gas leaks at the weld point.
Material: Low Carbon Steel ASTM A29/A108 Grades 1010-1020
Length: Length is before weld. Will be approximately 1/8″ shorter after welding.
Thread: Standard UNC2A
Ferrules: Includes required ceramic ferrules (insulators) (Other types of ferrules available on request)
