Description
DOT Regulations require that closures on UN-Specification packaging must be tightened to the container manufacturer’s instructions.
These factory-preset torque wrenches are foolproof – nothing to set or adjust.
The wrench handle “breaks away” slightly when proper torque is reached.
Preset torque value is clearly stamped on the handle and the handle grip is color coded to minimize errors. Fits 2″ and 3/4″ round-head plugs.
Choice of machined steel or non-sparking bronze wrench head. Both types have an 18″ tubular steel handle for great leverage.
Be sure to follow the container manufacturer’s closing instructions in order to be in compliance with UN Regulations.
