16/12PR PLTC Shielded 105C 300V PVC Black

Description

This 16 gauge 12 twisted pair conductor PLTC or Power Limited Tray Cable is an instrumentation tray cable that is rated to 300 volts compared to tray cables rated to 600 volts. This cable is made up of stranded bare copper conductors and rated for 105℃. It has a PVC insulation, an aluminum mylar tape shield with a stranded tinned copper drain, and a PVC jacket. 

PLTC cables are UL approved for sunlight resistant, direct burial applications, and Class I Division II hazardous locations. They can be used in many applications including intercom systems, burglar alarms, power limited circuits, industrial control systems, and substations. 

Applications:

• Process instrumentation requiring multi-pairs Power Limited Tray Cable (PLTC) & Instrumentation Tray Cable (ITC)
• Acceptable in Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas per NEC Article 501-4(b) for UL Type PLTC/ITC cables
